Because there are so many seafood taverns and restaurants, that's exactly why Pueblo stands out in the crowd. We tried the mushrooms with garlic and rocket salad for starters. The mushrooms had a very interesting sauce, similar to a rance sauce (I think) and the salad had a great balsamic vinegar - balanced in taste and not too sour - the cherry tomatoes were very tasty and so were the other ingredients. The mains consisted in the beef burger stuffed with feta cheese and tomatoes. It's not actually a traditional burger - as you can see from the pictures - but the meat is wrapped around the cheese and tomatoes.I have to say this was one of the best tasting beef meat that I had, and I'm sure the same is used for the actual burgers. It was grilled, it wasn't too dry but juicy instead and the taste was just amazing. You need to try it, it's too hard to describe in words. The potatoes were also very delicious, not oily at all, with sweet paprika sprinkled on them.We also tried the walnut pie for desert, which we liked. All in all, they know how to cook here and we'll be sure to come back.Be warned that the stuffed beef burger portion is very big for one person and I really struggled to eat it all... but it was too good to stop :)Eza Pilsner is also a good beer, I don't know why more restaurants don't have it.Though I did see it another restaurant in Nydri port where it was 3, not 6 like here. Kind of expensive at Pueblo. But the food itself didn't seem expensive to me. We paid 60 for all of the above, which is ok for 2 people (in my opinion). The host is really a great guy and he even looks a lot like Harald Finehair from Vikings series :)

A must-try meat restaurant on Lefkada and around the world.Costa, the manager, owner, and waiter, is a charming host who serves only what he deems to be good, tasty, and right. His wife (an amazing cook) and sons are waiters and bartenders. Here, you'll find excellent meat and coffee!Dishes differ from local tavern dishes and are more modern, but not excessive or absurd. Delicious and accurate. As the place fills up, the rate of service decreases, so be patient.Parking is 5 euros right in front of the restaurant. Alternatively, a street parking space may be available. We parked the car so we could walk a few minutes after the meal, and it was great. As a family of four adults, we enjoyed eating three portions of pueblo burgers and a smoked pork steak accompanied by an excellent beet salad. The food was delicious and accurate, so we ordered more.

We stopped off in the village of Karia on Lefkada island as my wife and I had heard of its charm from just about every local we spoke with. Initial impression of Pueblo was that it looked like a cool place to have a decent coffee as the signage stated that they roast their own beans. We loved the outdoor setup and sat for a meal instead. We decided to enjoy a burger as we have been traveling for months and missed the Aussie burgers we took for granted back home… The Pueblo burger was delicious… It was a perfect piece of grilled beef and it had a slight smoky taste to it. It was loaded with bacon, cheese, and egg, along with an onion reduction and tomato. The bread was a robust brioche which was perfect for mopping up the egg and juice left over in the end. We will return for dinner in a few days time and I’ve been told to try the meats as they are all local grass fed and from a sustainable supplier… We returned a few days later and enjoyed the pork chop too! Oh and the coffee was fire too… Highly recommended.

Excellent food! Especially good taste! We opted for a Pueblo Burger and on the recommendation of the owner we ordered smoked pork steak. Both came with very good french fries garnish. The owner is very kind and the service was great. The meat from the burger I understand is prepared by them and purchased from the locals. P.S. smoked pork steak was the best I ate at a restaurant. Keep in mind that I'm not a big meat eater but when I do I like it to be tasty and that was it.

Such a great, unexpected place in Lefkada, located in a picturesque mountain village. The owner is super friendly and insists on quality - both the service and food were amazing! This was the best burger I have ever had, the quality of meat is impeccable. Everything is fresh and very well prepared. They also offer a variety of different espresso beans, and their own unique blend that they roast by themselves. The owner is so passionate about the quality of every single component and it shows. We were impressed! This is a must visit!

It's like eating at a 5 star restaurant with a small greek village vibe. You can sit inside or outside in the courtyard. I ordered the Pueblo Burger, and it was amazing. The meat was juicy and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered a rib eye steak, and this was extremely tender and flavourful. We had a great time here and visited some of the local shops nearby.Travel Advice - Google maps can really throw incorrect directions to this village/town. At times, we were taken through some very narrow winding roads, which can be overwhelming for some drivers. I would ask a local on the best way to get here. The easiest would be to travel via Lefkada, it may be longer but the roads are wider.
